Private George K. Glover
Company A, 6th Florida Infantry Regiment

George K. Glover enlisted in Captain Grace's Company on 19 Apr 1862. Grace's Company became Company A, 6th Florida Regiment on 9 May 1862. The company was mustered in at Chattahoochee, Florida, and soon to East Tennessee. He was home sick at the close of the war. George was a teamster for Headquarters 6th Florida Regiment. His application for pension was first rejected as he was listed as absent after his sick leave expired. Letters from John R. Ely and Colonel Jesse J.
