Louis Melton Avery, son of William Avery and Susan Sanders, was born 28 May 1848, in Georgia.
William J. Ford was born in Bibb County, Georgia, on 9 May 1847. He enlisted in Company C 1st Florida Reserves on 12 May 1864, at Marianna, Florida. William was discharged on 13 May 1865, at Madison, Florida. In 1909 he had a Bascom, Florida address. [FLORIDA CONFEDERATE PENSION # A01846]
William J. Pyke - No records have been located on a William J. Pike in Company B, 9th Florida. A Sion Pike is listed in Company B, 9th Florida. The only William J. Pike found in the Compiled Military Records is William J. Pike of the 13th Regiment, Georgia Cavalry. If anyone has information on any of these solders, please contact Ashley Pollette.
John Weddington enlisted in Company F (Jeff Davis Guards), 32nd Georgia Infantry on 7 May 1862. [MIL REC HENDERSON III P. 720]
A William Weddington enlisted in Company D, 1st Georgia Regulars. This company became Captain Maxwell's Light Artillery. No further information, other than he may have been born in 1835. [MUSTER CARDS - FOOTNOTE.COM]
John T. Weston was born 4 Aug 1829, at Bertie County, North Carolina. He enlisted Company A, 6th Alabama Infantry Regiment, on 1 Sep 1862, and was discharged from service in a Richmond, Virginia, Confederate Hospital, on 13 Oct 1862. He later enlisted in Company A, 11th Alabama State Troops (Home Guard), and was discharged on 10 May 1865, at Gordon, Alabama. [FLORIDA CONFEDERATE PENSION #A11027]
Samuel G. Weston was born 16 Feb 1840, at Bertie County, North Carolina. He enlisted in Company I, 4th Florida Infantry Regiment on 1 May 1861. He was wounded in the abdomen at Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Samuel was paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina, on 1 May 1865. [FLORIDA CONFEDERATE PENSION # A01330 - NARA M251 REEL 58 Si-Y]
