Thomas Elmore Atkinson was born 3 May 1846, in Randolph County, Georgia, and died 15 Sep 1930, in Jackson County, Florida. He enlisted as a corporal, 15 Mar 1864, in Company I, 57th Alabama Infantry and was captured and discharged at Camp Chase, Ohio, 13 Jun 1865. [FLORIDA CONFEDERATE PENSION #A07030]

James Cornelius Boykin enlisted in Company A, 6th Florida Infantry Regiment on 12 Mar 1862, at Quincy, Florida. In Apr 1863 he was detailed to the City Police at Knoxville, Tennessee. He was wounded and on 10 Oct 1863, and he was furloughed from a Confederate Hospital in Macon, Georgia, for thirty days. He was surrendered at Quincy, Florida on 11 May 1865. [NARA M251 REEL 69]

William Booth Forman enlisted and was commissioned 1st Lieutenant in Company C (Captain Evan's Company), 6th Regiment Florida Infantry on 11 Jan 1862, at Quincy, Florida. He was wounded on 20 Sep 1863, at the Battle of Chickamauga, Georgia. He surrendered at Tallahassee, Florida, on 10 May 1865, and was paroled at the same place on 18 May 1865. He was born in Gadsden County, Florida, on 15 Mar 1840. William was a cadet at the Virginia Military Institute when the war broke out and he was involved in drilling troops in Virginia during the first year of the war. John Calhoun Kemp, son of Elias H. Kemp and Jincy Caroline Redick, was born in Georgia about 1844 or 1845. He enlisted as a private in Company F, 6th Florida Infantry Regiment at Apalachicola Arsenal, Florida . He was wounded in the right thigh at Dallas, Georgia, in 1864. He was captured and sent to a military prison in late Apr 1865. [NARA M251 REEL 72 - FLORIDA CONFEDERATE PENSION #A11612 - ANCESTRY.COM]

Francis Marion Kemp, son of Elias H. Kemp and Jincy Caroline Redick, was born in Georgia about 1839 and died in 1886. He enlisted as a private in Company F, 2nd Florida Infantry Regiment on 10 May 1861. He was surrendered at Quincy, Florida on 11 May 1865, and was paroled at the same place on 24 May 1865. John I (J) King enlisted at St. Marks in Company G, 5th Florida Infantry Regiment as a private on 3 Mar 1862. He was wounded at the Sharpsburg, Maryland, on 17 Sep 1862. He was captured at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia, in 1864 and sent to Elmira, New York. He was released from Elmira 19 Jun 1865, after taking "The Oath". [NARA M251 REEL 64]

George Adam Lanier, son of John Lanier and Virginia W. Harrison, was born 6 Jan 1847, in Gadsden County, Florida, and he died 5 Jan 1921. George enlisted as a private in Company C, 1st Florida Reserves on 2 May 1864. He was paroled at Madison, Florida, on 26 May 1865. Henry Pope entered service as a 3rd Lieutenant in Captain Mayson's Company, Jeff Davis Sharpe Shooters, Mississippi Volunteers, on 4 May 1861. By 31 Oct 1861, he was Captain of the company which became Company D, 7th Mississippi Infantry. Shade Sutton Stone was born in Calhoun County, Florida, on 25 Mar 1839 (1836 one source). He enlisted as a private in Company H, 5th Florida Infantry, at Rico's Bluff, Florida, on 19 Apr 1862. His age is listed as 26 years old. He was captured near Appomattox Court House, Virginia on 6 Apr 1865, and he was released from prison on 4 Jul 1865. He was captured at Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia on 12 May 1864, and sent to Elmira, New York in Jul 1864. Alexander was released from Elmira on 30 Jun 1865. Andrew Jeline Wooldridge was born 12 Jul 1847,  in Woodford County, Kentucky. He enlisted in 2 Sep 1862, in Company A, 5th Kentucky Cavalry Regiment, and he served with General John Hunt Morgan's Cavalry. Alexander was wounded on 5 Jul 1863, at Lebanon, Kentucky. He was captured at Buffington Island, Ohio and sent to Camp Douglas, Illinois.  He was exchanged at Vicksburg, Mississippi, and served until surrendering near Greensboro, North Carolina in May 1865 [FLORIDA CONFEDERATE PENSION #A04170 - ANCESTRY.COM]
