Francis M. Rogers - Peter L. Rogers - Thomas L. Rogers - Benjamin H. Stephens

Francis Marion Rodgers, son of Thomas and Bethany Rodgers,
was born 25 May 1839, in Georgia. He enlisted in Captain Finley's Company on
20 Apr 1862, at Mt. Vernon Arsenal, Florida. Francis was captured near
Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on 7 Dec 1864, and was sent to Camp Chase, Ohio. He
took the Oath of Allegiance on 12 Jun 1865, and was released. Francis
Marion Rodgers is the 2nd Great-grandfather of Faye Dunaway.

Peter L. Rogers, son of Thomas and Bethany Rodgers, was twenty years old when he enlisted in Captain Finley's Company on 17 Mar 1862. He deserted on 12 Sep 1863. [FOOTNOTE.COM - EDENFIELD.ORG]

Thomas L. Rogers, son of Thomas and Bethany Rodgers, was thirty-seven years old when he enlisted in Captain Finley's Company on 17 Mar 1862. He was surrendered at Quincy, Florida, on 22 May 1865. [FOOTNOTE.COM - EDENFIELD.ORG]

Benjamin Henry (Black-eye) Stephens was a brother-in-law to the three Rogers brothers listed on this page. At 21 years of age, he enlisted in Captain Baker's Company on 30 Mar 1861. He was 3rd Sergeant of the company when he was paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina, on 1 May 1865. He was born in Georgia on 29 Oct 1839 and died in Jackson County, Florida, on 1 Mar 1892.
