MARIANNA DAY REENACTMENTS

Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department, Main Street Marianna, and Theophilus West, M.D., Camp 1346, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Loreta Velazquez Chapter 14, Order of the Confederate Rose, and the William Henry Milton Chapter 1039, UDC, sponsored our first Marianna Day Reenactments. Marianna Day 2008

This past Marianna Day, September 27, 2008, Theophilus West, M.D. Camp 1346, The William Henry Milton Chapter No. 1039, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the Loretta J. Velazquez Society, Order of the Confederate Rose celebrated the event with a joint effort. There was a headstone dedication for Judge Allen Henry Bush at St. Luke's Episcopal Church Cemetery, followed by a rededication of the Marianna Confederate Monument by the William Henry Milton Chapter No. 1039.
