Living History at the West Camp

Marianna, Jackson County, Florida

The living history program of Theophilus West, M. D. Camp 1346 is to perpetuate public awareness, and stimulate interest in, the historical significance of the period in Jackson County history during "The War Between the States". Our program is designed to educate the public on day to day life of local soldiers and civilians between the years of 1861 and 1865. Our members have taken on impressions of soldiers and citizens who lived in Jackson County during the war or were at the Battle of Marianna on September 27, 1864. Contact Commander Robert Daffin or call (850) 718-6479 if you would like a living history presentation at your school or organization.
