The Battle of Marianna, Florida
September 27, 1864
John T. Coulliette enlisted in Company G, 4th Battalion
Florida Infantry on 1 Mar 1863. This company became Company H, 11th Florida
Infantry. He was detailed as a nurse at the Confederate Hospital at Marianna,
Florida, 4 Mar 1864, by order of Colonel Montgomery. The Company Roll has
him listed as on detail at Marianna Hospital in Oct 1864. He is also listed as
detailed to Marianna Confederate Hospital in Dec 1864. Some records have
John T. listed as John C or John L Coulliette. He was born 24 Sep 1825 in South
Carolina.
Where John was on 27 Sep 1864, is unknown, but he was
assigned to the Confederate Hospital at Marianna. It is assumed he assisted with
